"STAY ON THE BOAT"

TW2K - "Easy money, he says. Nothing to worry about, he says. A simple little trip
down the river, straight into Warsaw, and collect our reward, he says."
"Then why are all these people shootin' at us?"

Twilight 2000, TW2K or T2K a seminal RPG from the 1980's. WWIII for fun.
Set at the height of the Cold War when there was a very real possibility of Nuclear Armageddon what better way to enjoy it than play an RPG set in a World where it had actually happened. It was my favourite RPG and my favourite game. And now I'm going to recreate WWIII in 28mm. Some of the RPG parts will be missing but there hopefully will be lots of other bits to make up for it.

First up - a boat, I know that I will need a few boats. Certainly when I recreate the 'Vistula' missions I'll be needing a tug, that'll be a scratchbuild as it's such a seminal part of the story. But I'll also be needing some not so specific water-craft.

Revell have recently re-released in glorious 1/48 scale their US Navy Swift Boat, this will be converted for use in the TW2K universe.

As can be seen it's a great size for 28mm lead. I'll be making it a waterline model so that should be fun.
